I love theatre. I don't know what I would do without this creative outlet. I know I have a lot of work to catch up on, but I will get there because I want to succeed!!!!
First, I will finish my work for my RI.
Next, I will write my monologue on a human rights issue.
Then I will read and reflect on the dramaturgy assignment found in moodle.
And lastly, I will start a regular reflection process on theatre that will help prepare me for my final three assessments for this course! I can't wait to get started.
"Life is far too important to be taken seriously." Oscar Wilde
Although I do not have the video of my presentation yet I thought that I would reflect on it. I Think Javier and I did a very eloquent job presenting. Our vision was very clear and I though that the way that we wanted to set this play on stage was very well thought. The idea of increasing lights gradually to build uo the anxiety and tensness of the play. Although the dark atmosphere and the comedy of what is going on contradicts itself I think that if the action and plot is really exagerated it could be even funnier than intended
ReplyDeleteI've been impressed with your desire to do well in Theatre, Alex. You have a creative mind. The hard part about this class (and theatre in general really), however, is that in order to create strong work, you have to put the time in. Achieving quality work through creative outlets takes A LONG TIME!!! But that time can be great....if you're into theatre.
